Robert
Age: 1 yrThis lovely young man is Robert, who is black and white and estimated to be one year old. He was found hiding in a shed in South West London and was taken to a vet practice by his Finder for a check of his wellbeing.
A check by the Vet confirmed that Robert had not been neutered or microchipped and re-homing procedures were arranged for him whilst he remained in the practice. He was also treated for a bacterial urine infection before being taken into foster care by a member of the vet team where he has been a very welcome guest for six weeks. In the meantime, efforts have been made to locate Robert's owner, but sadly these have been unsuccessful.
Robert, who was extremely shy, spent much of his first four weeks hiding in his foster home. However, his confidence is growing and he is becoming very affectionate, loving a fuss from, and to walk all over, his Carers' laps. A cheeky side to Robert is emerging and he is loving learning how to play with his Carers, especially with his favourite feather.
Most of all, Robert loves to have fun and we feel he has potential to live alongside a family with respectful children 8 years +. Most importantly, he is looking for adopters who will be patient with his shyness and desire to hide in his first few weeks whilst he finds his paws. Robert has been content to spend some time alone and has potential to live with people who work away from home on some days. He has no experience with other cats or dogs.
Robert is available for re-homing through our Direct Re-home Service from his foster home in Teddington. We feel that he is more likely to sparkle and show his fun side if potential adopters join him for an online meeting initially.
If you would like to offer Robert a forever home with a safe garden and an invitation to meet this lovely boy online, please take a look at the checklist in his media where you can see the type of home he is looking for. Thank you.
